Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under the research project entitled "Development of bacterial biofilm-inspired hydrogel for the sustainable bioremediation of microplastics" funded by Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) at Gujarat at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

3. Eligibility
Essential Qualification:
M.Tech/M.Sc (Biotechnology or relevant life sciences discipline) with minimum of 55% marks.
Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC-NET-JRF-LS/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE.
Desirable Qualifications:
Candidates with prior research experience in bacterial biofilms, hydrogels, pollutant profiling from environmental samples, HPLC, LC-MS, metagenomics, marine pollution, and bioprocess engineering.
Candidates must have proficiency in scientific writing, data analysis, and lab management.
4. Age Limit
Up to 28 years on the closing date of the advertisement
5. Fellowship Duration
Initially for 1 year (extended to next year, subject to satisfactory performance)
6. Fellowship
Rs. 37,000/-+18% HRA per month (NET/GATE or national-level exam qualified candidates, as per DBT norms)
